(This is to mix the previous sessions together into a more coherent storyline)
The first year has already passed for The Munsters and it’s already been eventful. Their first mission was to investigate Dean Malone , an old SCP contact that went silent after procuring a possible SCP object. The plan was simple: while the bunch distracted Dean at his Fencing (You know, stealing and selling) office under the guise of renegotiating his contract Janelle would slip in through his local network connection and see what he was hiding digitally. It was a success as Janelle found Dean had gotten an e-mail from one of his underlings about finding the perfect place to hide the Stone Cube: the old car garage 5 blocks away.
Janelle immediately called Kaid and told her to move to the location while the others keep Dean busy. Kaid was successful in finding and collecting the cube but ran into difficulties when she failed to quietly pick the front door’s lock. Little did she know that Dean’s underling, Mickey, had been watching the site for a while and caught a look of her entering and leaving the hiding spot.
That and Lunnex, the strange undead. Who knows where he fits in to this…
Meanwhile at Dean’s the gang was just wrapping it up after the re-appearance of Kaid, signalling the time to call it a night and claim the mission a success. Unfortunately it was not 10 minutes after that Mickey informed Dean of the Munster’s true intentions which lead to the events after.
Slimy Dean, using one of his old SCP foundation numbers, informed the foundation that there was rumors of a large, supernatural Boar making it’s home in a warehouse near the docks. This is where he would enact his own plan. Knowing our group would be first sent to investigate, Mickey went on sight and waited for the group to arrive—all while putting together his last touches on the makeshift bomb that was meant to rid of them. The Addams Family showed up and they found nothing but a few feral dogs in the warehouse, a far cry from something supernatural. Dean’s plan was about to come to fruition but it was foiled by Michael’s keen observance, making Mickey disarm the bombs himself. Michael also gave Mickey a nice bullet wound to remember that him and his team weren’t to underestimated.
Needless to say Dean wasn’t pleased with Mickey’s failure (or what we’re lead to believe; Mickey was next seen a ditch not a block away from the car garage) and went for a more direct approach. He decided he would try to take out the group individually. Thankfully Violet was too graceful to be taken out in the Alleyway after one of his hitmen tried to run her down. Before he could put hits on the rest of the group Janelle had her team pull out and go into hiding for a while.
After that time went slow and The Monster Mash tried to stay quiet for a while until Janelle got the go-ahead from up top to continue their missions, deferring their work to NYC’s other teams. It went pretty smoothly (minus Violet’s little side adventure) and while they endured their probation the foundation took their time to clear the waters so the team’s next venture wouldn’t be tainted from the previous events.
After 4 long months of sitting around it was finally time to step back out onto the streets and see what happens…
